The latest glitch in the game is teleporting chest loot to a different location, and it’s getting pretty annoying for players.

Player feedback is one of the many things Epic takes very seriously that it aims to fix in every major weekly update or minor hotfixes from time to time. Often there are times when these bugs can get pretty annoying as they affect the overall gameplay experience for the player.

Fortnite players have seen bugs ranging from being stuck under the map or taking fall damage after jumping off a launch pad. From pros to content creators, each one of them took to social media to call on the developers to “fix the game”.

However, a recent update, v21.30, left a bug that has tested the patience of every Fortnite player active this season – potentially the most annoying Fortnite bug of all time. Here’s everything we know about it so far.

Fortnite bug teleports chests loots to other locations

A strange Fortnite bug that is going viral right now on social media is the Loot Chests bug. It all began when Epic added the update v21.30 and introduced players to this year’s summer event, No Sweat Summer.

The update also saw the addition of Prime Shotgun which is considered to be the best shotgun in Chapter 3. While all the additions are fascinating and exciting to the players, the bug the update left in the game is still haunting players who are failing to win a game like they used to.

The bug, as shown in the clip above, teleports the chest loot to a nearby location outside if a player opens a chest box inside a building. This is pretty annoying as it doesn’t let the player farm loot fast as they usually would while landing on a hot drop.

Players have already started uploading their clips of the loot chest bug and are calling out the game to come out and fix this issue. This bug also creates double the work for those players who like to play a fast-paced Battle Royale match.

Joining in the conversation are a few FNCS players who feel that this bug might cost them several games where they would end up losing on a major competitive level. The entire community has joined hands together to ask the developers to fix the game at the earliest.

While Fortnite has not addressed this issue on their social media handles or on the Trello board could also mean that players in higher ping regions might be the only ones experiencing the bug. However, the player base is still keeping their hopes high to get these issues fixed as soon as possible.

As bugs and glitches continue to add to several issues Fortnite is filled with, events like No Sweat Summer keep the community excited for more in-game content and freebies that they can get. The challenges for No Sweat Summer are live in-game now and players can redeem their share of rewards upon completing them.

How to use Ice Cream cones in Fortnite Season 3 https://www.fortniteintel.com/how-to-use-ice-cream-cones-in-fortnite-season-3/41572/ Tue, 19 Jul 2022 08:15:16 +0000 http://www.fortniteintel.com/?p=41572 Of a wide range of consumables on the island, Ice Cream cones are by far the most interesting consumables that are soon to arrive in Fortnite. According to various leaks, the cones will have their own different abilities and will each be of a different color. Here’s a guide on how to use them.

Fortnite has had a history of interesting consumables that have been around since Chapter 1. From Shield to Slurp Mushrooms, the way players gain health and shields in the game has relatively changed over the years.

Ever since fishing arrived at the Battle Royale island in Chapter 2, the consumables in the game saw a huge variation ranging from fishes that can give thermal vision, faster speed, hopping powers, and revealed the enemy locations.

Similarly, the consumables ranging from Chillies to Coconuts also have the same abilities apart from their health-granting prowess. In a recent game update v21.30, leaks showed that an Ice Cream cone consumable will soon arrive in Fortnite and it can feature in several variations, giving different abilities.

How to use Ice Cream cones

Ice Creams are the next soon-to-be-released consumables that will be added to Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 3 island. The consumable has 4 different types of cones namely Freeze, Guzzle, Chug, and Spicy.

All of the above-mentioned variants are based on existing consumables in Fortnite that have a similar ability. There has been no news so far of how they will function or where can one get them but for the use case, anyone can use it like a regular consumable and it will grant health or shield based on that.

The stats shown above indicate every cone’s health and shield stats that they grant a player upon consumption. The upcoming summer update has the community hyped more than ever before with more leaks surfacing after the update v21.30.

It sure seems like Ice Cream cones will be the next favorite consumables that the community would be using on the go during their fast-paced battles. However, once the summer update drops, we’ll update this article with more info on how to use them.

Fortnite brings back Port-A-Fort to the game in v21.20 https://www.fortniteintel.com/fortnite-brings-back-port-a-fort-to-the-game-in-v21-20/41543/ Wed, 06 Jul 2022 19:14:45 +0000 http://www.fortniteintel.com/?p=41543 Port-A-Fort has been in Fortnite since Chapter 1 and has been vaulted and unvaulted several times by the developers, depending upon the requirement of the item in-game. With the latest v21.20, the item is unvaulted once again for players to enjoy even in Zero Build to gain a massive gameplay advantage.

Fortnite consists of several items that the OG player base enjoyed back when the game was at its peak days. From Junk Rifts to Hoverboards, the community still misses those items from Chapter 1 and has been waiting ever since to be added back to the game.

While some items like Ballers, Traps, and Quadcrashers have returned to the game on a regular basis, items like Storm Flip, Junk Rifts, and Rocket Launchers have been left in the past. However, with the most recent v21.20 update, an item nobody expected to return was unvaulted and pros are loving it.

Port-A-Fort was unvaulted in a recent major Fortnite update where players who like to claim the high ground would once again be able to use it to their advantage. Not just that, the ones in Zero Build will also have an equal opportunity to experience the feel of the high ground as well.

Port-A-Fort gets unvaulted in Fortnite and Zero Build mode

A rather convenient device known for using “Zero Builds”, Port-A-Fort has been a favorite amongst the player base ever since Chapter 1 as sweats tend to use it to claim a high ground faster above their enemies and set traps for those who dare to enter their fort.

Moreover, the device helps players who are not good at building, gain a fair chance over those who are known for cranking speed 90s over their opponents and are quick with their edits. The return of Port-A-Fort was highly appreciated not just by new players but also by pros and veterans like SypherPK.

Sypher tweeted recently about how pleased he was with the unvaulting of Port-A-Fort and how it is a huge step for players who love to play Zero Build. Now they will have an equal opportunity to gain a high ground over their opponents and secure an easy Victory Royale.

However, in other news, the convenient item for builders is not available in competitive mode at the moment until further updates arrive. This might be due to several changes Epic is making with the competitive side of Fortnite which also might include the stability issues of the entire gameplay experience.

As players welcome back the classic Port-A-Fort back into the game, they seem unhappy about the addition of the new Charge SMG in the game. As far as SMGs go, this is not a favorable weapon to use when one engages in a sweaty situation while in a build fight or even in a fight inside your fort.

]]>
Combat SMG removed from Fortnite in v21.20 and replaced with new Charge SMG https://www.fortniteintel.com/combat-smg-removed-from-fortnite-in-v21-20-and-replaced-with-new-charge-smg/41540/ Wed, 06 Jul 2022 16:37:35 +0000 http://www.fortniteintel.com/?p=41540 Fortnite recently replaced one of its most used SMGs, the Combat SMG weapon with a more powerful Charge SMG in the latest v21.20 update. At a time when the SMG meta was going strong, this major move changed the opinions of the player base about the need for replacement.

The weapons meta in Fortnite Chapter 3 has evolved over time as players continue to discover new ways to use the overpowered weapons arsenal in their matches. With the disliking of Shotguns in this chapter, players have shifted their focus on choosing ARs and SMGs as preferred weapons in their loadout.

Back in Chapter 3 Season 1, players saw the potential in SMGs being overpowered in the game and developed a Pray and Spray meta to use them to lead themselves to a Victory Royale. The combination of an MK-Seven Assault Rifle and a Stinger SMG was mostly favored by the players as they went to combat against their opponents.

But with the launch of Chapter 3 Season 3, the Hammer Assault Rifle and Combat SMG were used in a similar fashion, although not as overpowering as its predecessor. However, in a recent update, Epic chose to replace the favored Combat SMG with a new Charge SMG that promises heavy damage and a stronger fire rate.

Charge SMG replaces Combat SMG in Fortnite v21.20

In a rather unexpected update, Fortnite chose to replace one of its most popular SMGs with a more powerful Charge SMG across all playlists. The weapon requires the player to hold down the fire button to charge the weapon similar to a Charge Shotgun and release a barrage of bullets upon their opponents.

The shorter the time the fire button is held, the smaller the duration of the fire barrage will be and vice versa. The weapon also has a cooldown rate similar to the Charge Shotgun which applies after a heavy fire barrage if the fire button is held down longer.

In addition to the update, Fortnite also tweeted that the Combat SMG has been removed from all playlists and has been vaulted indefinitely. However, the Charge SMG will not be available in the Competitive playlists until quite some time.

Looking at the above gameplay for the Charge SMG, pros and several players are already dissing the new weapon for its slower reload time and heavy recoil. The weapon takes too much time to charge the barrage and once released, cannot target an enemy faster than the Stinger SMG.

Pros like SypherPK, NickEh30, and TypicalGamer have all expressed their dislike of the weapon and would rather play with the Combat SMG than the new SMG added to the game. Apart from this major change, several map changes, unvaulting of Port-A-Fort, the addition of new movement mechanics in Save The World, and more were seen in the latest v21.20 update that the community sang praises of.

Fortnite adds new movement mechanics to Save The World with v21.20 update https://www.fortniteintel.com/fortnite-adds-new-movement-mechanics-to-save-the-world-with-v21-20-update/41537/ Wed, 06 Jul 2022 16:02:42 +0000 http://www.fortniteintel.com/?p=41537 After a long time finally, Fortnite’s PvE campaign Save the World receives major updates with v21.20 and players cannot be happier. It has been almost a year since the game received an update with the latest game mechanics and things are looking good for the game mode more than ever.

Save The World campaign has been around in Fortnite ever since its initial days. Some OG players would say that the game mode itself was the actual Fortnite and still is due to its originality in the storyline and the classic graphics it boasts.

During Chapter 2 of the Battle Royale game mode, players slowly parted ways with Save The World, once it came out of Early Access and was accessible to anyone who bought a special cosmetic pack from the Item Shop. As a result, Epic also stopped updating the game mode with the latest mechanics and features and instead shifted its focus to Battle Royale.

But ever since the launch of Chapter 3, when Epic decided to add animals to the PvE campaign, players were hoping to finally get some latest Sprint, Mantle, and Crouch mechanics to the game mode soon enough. Looks like the day has finally arrived and Epic has indeed added some major updates to the game mode.

Epic adds new Movement Mechanics to Save The World in the latest update

Save The World game mode has just received a major update in the form of the latest movement mechanics as Sprinting, Sliding, Mantling, Crouching, and Shoulder Bashing Doors gets added to it. Now players can use the latest movement mechanics they have been using in Battle Royale game mode in Save The World and fight the Husk Monsters in their own unique way.

Fortnite also posted some clips on their official blog alongside the Homebase Status report v21.20 of how players can use the Ninja hero in their loadout and climb greater heights by combining the mantle feature with a double jump.

In addition to these features, Epic also added Fennix as the next hero to enter the PvE campaign and has given a dedicated questline called Flight of the Fennix to the character. Players can now jump in the game and complete quests linked to Fennix to acquire the hero in their loadout and use its ferocious powers to Save The World.

As Epic continues to improve the stability of its Battle Royale and Creative game modes, it is surely pleasing to see that finally Save The World is receiving a similar treatment with major changes being made to improve its gameplay experience. Nevertheless, the player base speculates in the coming days the PvE will also receive the popular Overshield feature as they experience in Zero Build as well as some new weapons added to their loadout.

Fortnite nerfs the Visualize Sound Effects range in Season 3 update https://www.fortniteintel.com/fortnite-nerfs-the-visualize-sound-effects-range-in-season-3-update/41359/ Wed, 29 Jun 2022 16:02:57 +0000 http://www.fortniteintel.com/?p=41359 After a long wait, Epic finally fixes the most broken feature of Fortnite that sweats were just tired of ever since the beginning of Chapter 3. Visualize Sound Effects was a feature which was recently nerfed in an update where players got to experience it as they jumped into a Battle Royale match.

Fortnite has had a history of broken features and glitches that have been well exploited by the player community over the last few years. From XP Glitch Maps to weapons meta, players have been using these exploits to gain a gameplay advantage that sometimes ends up getting them banned for their actions.

While some actions or exploits get them banned, others are just bugs in the game that is an error from the developer’s end that they take it casual enough to fix. One such exploit that was legit in the game was Visualize Sound Effects in sound settings.

When one enables the option, they can see visual cues of chests, gunfire, footsteps, reboot vans or even if someone is healing nearby. This then aids a player in judging the direction where the activity is happening and respond to it.

Ever since Chapter 3, this option was broken as players were able to hear the sound of gunfire, footsteps or even healing from afar which was an advantage to several sweats who always love to rush their opponents and engage in close combat. But in a recent update in Season 3, Epic finally decided to nerf it for good.

Epic nerfs Visualize Audio range as it’s not broken anymore

In last week’s update of v21.10, Epic nerfed the range of Visualize Sound Effects option as it was one of the most broken features in the game. Players weren’t informed nor were aware of this major change that took place in Fortnite until they tried it out themselves.

The update has fixed the distance and the radius of the Visual Audio cues one gets upon going near Chests, hearing footsteps or gunfire. After the update, players will only be able to see visual cues if they are approx. 100m close to the objects or their opponents which is a major relief to casual players or campers.

While casual players or noobs enjoy this news, sweats are surely unhappy and so are players who basically need these hearing aid options in-game to help them orient their gameplay. Moreover, this major change by Epic in one of the oldest Fortnite settings was not announced in any of the patch notes or their official Twitter handle, which it should have, according to the player-base.

However, players think that this fix might be a random update as Visual Audio has always been messy in-game ever since it was added. From reboot vans sounding from miles away to footsteps being heard from a long distance, Epic still needs to put in some work to fix those audio issues.

Fortnite leak shows two major POIs getting the Reality Bloom effect soon https://www.fortniteintel.com/fortnite-leak-shows-two-major-pois-getting-the-reality-bloom-effect-soon/41415/ Wed, 29 Jun 2022 15:39:23 +0000 http://www.fortniteintel.com/?p=41415 Fortnite Season 3 centers around the Zero Point blessing the island with colors and the mighty Reality Tree spreading its roots across the island. The bloom effect the roots create along several POIs further result in the return of classic locations from the Chapter 1 map.

The mystery behind the flora of the Reality Tree has been revolving across fan theories, leaks and concepts created by the Fortnite player-base. Loopers are having their share of fun with looting from their Reality Saplings and seeing the return of Chapter 1 locations merging with several current POIs as a result of the Reality Bloom effect.

To summarize, when the Reality Tree spreads its roots across the island and grows an extension of itself on a POI, it causes several realities to merge, which in turn merges a POI with another from another point in time. This phenomenon is coined as Reality Bloom effect by the player community.

In the past, players have seen the return of Temple Ruins, Coral Castle and now Neo Tilted in POIs like Logjam, Butter Barn etc. that have all undergone through the Reality Bloom effect. Latest leak shows two more locations that are about to undergo a major change as the roots of the Reality Tree have just begun to spread further.

Sleepy Sound and Condo Canyon are about to undergo the “Reality Bloom Effect” soon

Two major POIs known for its expansive architecture and loot pool, Condo Canyon and Sleepy Sound are under the radar of the Reality Tree next. The two locations will soon see the extensions of the roots of the mysterious tree and will get a Reality Bloom effect.

The effect would then bring POIs such as Tilted Town, Neo Tilted, Coral Castle, Coliseum and Lazy Links to the two locations currently on the map. These POIs are a combination of Chapter 1 & 2 locations whose realities are being merged by the Reality Tree.

Although the effect does bring back fan favorite locations back into the game without any explanation, some loopers speculate that the island might be in grave danger. The mysterious figure that appeared at the end of the Chapter 3 Season 3 trailer has not been seen before and is being called as Bloomwatcher by the player base.

Furthermore, there are theories that the Zero Point might already be causing chaos around the island and the Imagined Order was right to contain it along the Bridge. Now that it is free, the island is undergoing major changes and is running wilder than before.

The mystery of the Zero Point remains as loopers continue to enjoy their time in this madness caused by the chaotic Reality Blooms across their favorite POIs. All that the players ever wanted was the Chapter 1 map to return but it isn’t turning out the way it was supposed to be.

Fortnite Fall Guys event leaked: How to complete Crown Clash challenges https://www.fortniteintel.com/fortnite-fall-guys-event-leaked-how-to-complete-crown-clash-challenges/41393/ Tue, 28 Jun 2022 17:57:52 +0000 http://www.fortniteintel.com/?p=41393 Fall Guys is one of the most popular Battle Royale games that went viral ever since its release due to its healthy gameplay and exciting obstacle based games. Its collaboration with Fortnite has been teased for over a year and leaks show that it is finally arriving in the form of an in-game event with challenges that offer rewards to those who participate in it.

The collaborations between Fortnite and several video games always keeps the player base at their feet as they wait for their favorite characters to enter the loop. Moreover these collabs result in either in-game items, challenges or Item Shop cosmetics that loopers do not hesitate spending their precious V-Bucks on.

From Street Fighter to God of War, players have seen characters from various franchises arrive to the Gaming Legends series of cosmetics to the Item Shop. Most recently, players saw a brief collab with Among Us cosmetics, as the game finally arrived to Epic Games store a while ago.

However, the collab only consisted of a Back Bling and an emote which was rather disappointing but fans still bought the cosmetics from the Item Shop, given the game’s popularity. Now that Fall Guys is free on Epic Games Store, the collab between the two is arriving in Fortnite with certain challenges that rewards the participants with in-game cosmetics.

How to complete Fall Guys Crown Clash Challenges in Fortnite Season 3

Fortnite x Fall Guys collab is set to enter Fortnite on June 29 in-game with the release of Crown Clash Challenges. The challenges will go on until July 11 which means players will have less than a couple weeks to complete all the challenges and claim their rewards.

Players would need to complete these challenges in 5 rounds. This might suggest that these challenges would take place in a Creative map rather than the traditional Battle Royale approach.

Loopers who complete these in Fortnite will get 5 free cosmetics right in their locker which will only be exclusive to those completing all the challenges. Moreover, if players have their Epic ID linked to their Fall Guys account, they will receive 3500 Kudos after the completion of these challenges, in their Fall Guys account to spend in-game.

However, the challenges also seem to affect the points one could get in Rocket League, as per the leaks. Although, this might be a possibility as Rocket League cars were spotted in a leak to appear soon in the Fortnite island back again.

Fortnite reveals new July Crew Pack skin https://www.fortniteintel.com/fortnite-reveals-new-july-crew-pack-skin/41363/ Tue, 28 Jun 2022 04:26:49 +0000 http://www.fortniteintel.com/?p=41363 Fortnite Crew skins hold their exclusivity as these in-game cosmetic usually do not arrive to the item shop and are availed by those who additionally purchase the pack. However, this time around it arrives with an exclusive Save The World access that is pretty unusual for a Crew Pack to feature other than the traditional V-Bucks and a Battle Pass.

With the release of Chapter 3 Season 3, players saw the arrival of several characters and new outfits in the Battle Pass that they have been waiting for. From Darth Vader to Indiana Jones, loopers are enjoying the grind to unlock their favorite skins in the Battle Pass and also purchasing the newest Naruto Collab skins from the Item Shop.

However, apart from the traditional Item Shop cosmetics, this time around players seem to love the Save The World Skate Park Royalty pack and are not hesitating to cop the exclusive outfit. Although, some were still waiting for the Crew Pack to hit the Item Shop to make their choice between the two as the latter offers a hefty amount of V-Bucks and the season’s Battle Pass.

As loopers saw some major changes arrive in the v21.10 update last week, Epic announced its July Crew Pack cosmetics which come with the usual combo but this time around, also comes with an exclusive Save The World access to subscribers.

Phaedra arrives to the island with July Fortnite Crew Pack

Fortnite July Crew pack brings ‘A dark sea witch with unknowable power’ to the game. Phaedra hits the Item Shop on July 1st with the rest of the crew pack bonuses subscribers usually get.

The July Crew pack features a Phaedra outfit with an additional selectable style, a Ceph back bling that looks like a squid, an Inky Reflection Loading Screen, a Gothic Shadesoarer glider and a Stygian Parasol pickaxe, both of which resembles an umbrella. In addition to those subscribers will get a free Battle Pass, 1000 V-Bucks and an exclusive access to Save The World PVE campaign.

Moreover, players who already own the Battle Pass, will be getting 950 V-Bucks back in addition to the 1000 V-Bucks as a Crew Pack Bonus. For $11.99, this crew pack offers a lot more than its value and is bang for the buck for those who want to purchase it or subscribe to it.

However, loopers can also subscribe to the current Mecha Strike Commander Crew Pack to get both the cosmetics of June’s as well as July’s crew packs right in their lockers, with the V-Bucks and Save The World access the latter promises.

What are Social Tags in Fortnite Season 3 and how to use them? https://www.fortniteintel.com/what-are-social-tags-in-fortnite-season-3-and-how-to-use-them/41322/ Sat, 25 Jun 2022 04:18:48 +0000 http://www.fortniteintel.com/?p=41322 Fortnite Season 3 has introduced players to several new features, a new UI and a more colorful island to drop in. One of these most awaited and heavily rumored features was Social Tags. Now that it’s finally here, players are loving how it adds their in-game personality to their profile.

Loopers are enjoying every bit about the latest Chapter 3 Season 3. From ballers, exciting new POIs, the brand new Reality Sapling loot system, all the new additions accompany one another in a perfect manner.

However, the user interface options in Fortnite have stayed stagnant for a long period of time and required a major overhaul with the evolution of the gameplay. With the addition of Explore and game playlists options earlier this year, Epic showed its player base about the potential of what Fortnite can be.

In addition to all these features, something felt missing that allowed players to connect with other active players who have similar interests and the way they play Fortnite. Enter Social Tags which were added in the most recent v21.10 update. Here’s what they are and how you can use them.

Use Social Tags to define your choices and find similar players in Fortnite

Social Tags in Fortnite are basically name tags you can add to your Fortnite profile on the sidebar section. These tags signify how you play Fortnite and you can get recommendations on the Explore Menu of similar experiences.

If you enjoy a certain Battle Royale or Creative mode, you can add a tag for it. One player at max, can add 3 tags to their profile. It could be a mix of Creative, Battle Royale which bbasically have gameplay modes and Miscellaneous which has more options like Chill, Quests, Mic On etc.

To apply Social Tags to your profile, do the following steps:

 1. Click on your profile icon in the left sidebar.
 2. Select +Add Tag option on your profile.
 3. Add social tags from the list available there.
 4. Save and confirm the selected tags. (Max 3)

Once assigned, they will show up on your profile and would tell others how you choose to play Fortnite. Furthermore, you can head to Looking For A Party option on the left sidebar, right above settings to search for random players who play Fortnite the way you do.

It will then show a list of players who are active currently in-game and are in the lobby with how many players. Moreover, you can send them a party invite or a request to join your party. You can also choose to turn off this option.

This feature promotes healthy connectivity between players who play Fortnite in a similar way and helps prevent toxicity between Casuals and Sweats in the game. Additionally, it creates a healthy divide between the two communities if one enjoys grinding Arenas while others purely enjoy Public matches.
